LED Lighting Upgrades: See and Be Seen

Modernize an older bike or enhance a new one with auxiliary LED lighting, integrated tail lights, and custom turn signals.

The Visibility Imperative

Motorcycles are inherently difficult for car drivers to see. While bright paint and loud exhausts help, your lighting system is your primary defensive tool, especially at night or in inclement weather.

Upgrading from traditional halogen bulbs to modern LED systems not only drastically modernizes the aesthetic of the bike, but significantly improves your safety.

Integrated Tail Lights and Turn Signals

One of the first aesthetic modifications riders make is installing a 'tail tidy' (fender eliminator) and an integrated tail light. This removes the bulky plastic rear fender and combines the brake light and turn signals into a single, sleek LED unit tucked under the tail.

For the front, replacing stalk-style blinkers with flush-mount LED pods cleans up the fairing lines perfectly.

Auxiliary Lighting for Adventure

If you are building an Adventure bike or touring machine in the BikeModifier studio, auxiliary LED spotlights are essential. Mounted to the crash bars, they throw a massive beam of light down rural roads, illuminating deer and hazards far beyond the reach of standard headlights.

High-quality LEDs draw very little power, meaning you won't drain your stator even with multiple lights running.

"A clean lighting setup is the hallmark of a premium custom build. It sharpens the lines and illuminates the road."
